PALS Course
Welcome to Bayside Medical Center’s PALS course page. We offer two distinct PALS courses for you to choose from: PALS certification and PALS recertification. Both comprehensive exams cover core cardiovascular topics such as cardiac arrest, CPR, defibrillation, respiratory distress and arrhythmias specifically for the treatment for infants and children.
Our PALS certification course provides the opportunity for you to obtain a new PALS provider card. This can be obtained after you pass our interactive online certification or recertification exams based upon the recent AHA PALS Provider Manual that follows current ECC guidelines.
To ensure that you receive the best opportunity to pass either exam, we allow customers unlimited free exam retakes should they not achieve a passing score of 80% or higher. Since our test is entirely online and not time sensitive, you can complete this exam at your pace. You have the option to take the test offline for further study and submit your answers according to your schedule.
*NOTE: You must submit your answer selection in one sitting, as the program will not allow you to save a partially completed test.
For persons seeking PALS recertification, we provide a very convenient recertification PALS course online. This exam has been designed after clinical recommendations covered in the American Heart Association provider manual. Similar to the PALS certification course, healthcare providers seeking recertification will be given an untimed exam, allowing them to review and engage on their own time. The passing grade remains 80% or higher for the recertification and each participant is given unlimited opportunities to reach this requirement.
