Convenient 100% Online PALS Courses

After you choose and purchase the PALS course, you will receive an order confirmation email with instructions on how to access the online exam to begin immediately. The initial PALS Certification or PALS recertification process is easy and convenient to complete. When you are ready to take the 50-question multiple-choice exam, follow the link from your confirmation email and select your answers. There is no time limit on either test. After you have completed the exam, our staff will review and score your answers within one business day. However, you can also receive same day results and your digital provider card for an additional fee (this option is available at check out). You will receive an email with your score and a digital PALS provider card upon earning a passing score of 80% or higher. If you do not pass either the PALS certification or recertification course the first time, you may retake the exam at no additional cost.

You can complete this process from start to finish at your own pace. Whether it takes hours or days is entirely up to you and your commitments. If required, we now offer the ability to print the test for offline review. You can submit the exam once you are confident about your answers. Unlike other web-based programs and in-person courses, you control the speed at which you complete either program.

*NOTE: You must complete the exam in one sitting. Though you can print the test, you will not be able to save a partially completed test. Only fully completed exams that are submitted will be accepted and graded by our staff.

What to Expect from the Exam

Bayside Medical Center offers 100% web-based exams. Other providers require in-person skills testing before you will be awarded your provider card - not Bayside Medical Center. Even if you are obtaining your PALS certification for the first time, you can finish this course completely online. To help you certify, we offer the official AHA and AAP endorsed PALS Provider Manual and CD set as study aides. These extra tools will quickly guide you through either one of our PALS online programs.

What to Expect After Passing the Exam

Once you have successfully passed your PALS certification or PALS recertification online exam, you will receive your electronic PALS provider card. This temporary card immediately provides you with the recognition you earned while you wait for your hard copy to arrive. Your PALS provider card will display our logo, your name and the certification issue and expiration dates. If you did not pass the test, Bayside Medical Center allows you unlimited free exam retakes. If your first exam score is below the required 80% passing score, you can immediately retake the exam.
