Q: Are these programs accredited?
A: We are proud to be endorsed by the North American Medical Certification Committee of Advisors (NAMCCA); an organization that was created to ensure that online medical certification courses are meeting current offline education standards and guidelines.
Q: When will I receive my certification?
A: Once you have submitted your answers to our staff you will receive your test score via email within one business day. When you pass the online certification or recertification exam with a score of 80% or higher you will receive your digital PALS provider card. A few days later you will receive a hard copy of that card in the mail.
Q: Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?
A: Yes, we stand behind our programs 100%. You can receive a full refund for either exam if you are not satisfied for any reason. Refunds are given to anyone you has paid for either course but has not yet submitted their answers. Once your answers are submitted we cannot process your refund. Q: What is included in the cost of the exam?
A: If you purchase the PALS certification exam you will receive access to complete the online exam, unlimited exam retakes if needed, a digital PALS provider card upon receiving a passing score, a hard-copy of your PALS provider card and free 3-5 day shipping for the card. If you purchase the PALS recertification exam you will receive access to complete the online exam, unlimited exam retakes if needed, a digital PALS provider card, a hard copy of your PALS provider card and free 3-5 day shipping for the card.
Q: How long does this certification stay active?
A: Both the PALS certification and recertification are active for 2 years.
Q: How will I know if I passed or failed the exam?
A: You will receive an email containing your score from our staff within one business day. If you received a score of 80% or higher then you passed, congratulations! If you did not pass, you are granted FREE UNLIMITED retakes for the PALS certification and recertification exams.
Q: What happens if my PALS certification expired?
A: Don’t worry you can still complete the recertification exam as long as you are registered within 6 months of your PALS certification expiration.
Q: Do these PALS courses satisfy AHA certification requirements?
A: Our exams are based on current ECC and AHA PALS provider guidelines but neither organization currently endorses any 100% web-based PALS certification program. You can receive an American Heart Association certification if you attend and pass their in-person assessments. We now offer the HeartCodeTM AHA CD course that is endorsed by the American Heart Association and results in the receipt of an AHA PALS provider card upon completion. Q: Can I receive continuing education credits for completing either exam?
A: Yes, you will receive one continuing education unit from Critical Care training upon passing either exam.
Q: Are there in-person skills test required to complete these certifications?
A: No, PALSCoursesOnline.com is one of the few 100% web-based PALS providers. You are only required to pass the exam with a score of 80% or higher; this can all be completed online.
